Assistance Program (EAP) Information
Listening
24 hours a day,
seven days a week - you can call the EAP counselors anytime. They
will carefully listen, assess the situation and help you take the
next step. If the situation can't be resolved over the phone, they
will arrange for you to see and EAP counselor in person.
Support
The EAP staff
will help you or your household members find resources to deal with
a wide variety of issues such as:
- Marriage
and relationship concerns
- Mental health
and stress issues
- Family problems
- Legal referrals
- Elder care
- Financial
matters
- Substance
abuse
- Grief
- Work-related
issues
Balance
The EAP is paid
for by eFunds and is separate from your health plan. It's an added
benefit to help you find balance in this fast-paced world. After
you call, if you decide to meet with an EAP counselor in person,
they will help you find the location that's most convenient for
you. If you are referred to a resource outside the EAP, you may
be responsible for the cost. The EAP counselor will help you understand
your options.
