Planning for the financial well being of your family in the event of an untimely death can offer you and your dependents peace of mind. eFunds group term Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance from CIGNA will provide financial assistance to your beneficiary (ies) in case of your or your dependents death.

Basic Life and AD&D
eFunds offers a company paid life insurance policy to all associates who meet a minimum work hour requirement. This policy equals one times your annual base salary.

In addition to the life insurance policy, there is a company paid accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) policy provided. This too is equal to one times your annual base salary.

Voluntary (Supplemental) Life Insurance

Employee
eFunds offers a variety of voluntary (supplemental) life insurance options. These are paid for entirely by the associates.

Coverage for an associate can be purchased in increments of $10,000, up to a maximum of:

$500,000, or
5 times your annual salary; whichever is less

While a new associate, $200,000 of coverage may be elected without the need to provide evidence of insurability. This is the guarantee issue amount.

Spouse/Domestic Partner
Coverage for a spouse or domestic partner can be purchased in increments of $10,000, up to a maximum of $500,000

While a new associate, $30,000 of coverage may be elected without the need to provide evidence of insurability. This is the guarantee issue amount. NOTE: You must elect this coverage for yourself to be eligible to elect for a spouse or domestic partner.

Dependent Children
Insurance "riders" are available in five different amounts. Evidence of insurability is not required for this benefit, but You must elect this coverage for yourself to be eligible to elect this benefit.
