ATM Management Services
EFD ATM Management Services provide a complete set of post-transaction products built on the DataNavigator® software to manage information from ATM and POS terminals. These include:
- ATM Inquiry - identifies wounded or down ATMs and monitors status
- Cash Management - manages the cash in the ATMs and deploys courier services more efficiently
- Auto Balance - simplifies end-of-day balancing and exception adjustment processing and streamlines online deposit verification
- Dispatch Manager (Gasper) - monitors your ATMs and delivers fault information directly to you. When Dispatch Manager detects problems with an ATM, it provides detailed data via a dispatching application to enable you to correct the problem as soon as possible. Four reports are created on a monthly basis: Ticket History, Object Performance Detail, Services Time Analysis by Contact and Summary by ATM.
Monitoring Services
- Fault/Supply Status - the default monitoring we provide to all processing customers. The terminal reports its faults to the EFD network. A status message is sent to EFD whenever the terminal is activated by a transaction. A status message may indicate a fault with the terminal. With status monitoring, the EFD automated messaging system notifies you when a status message identifies a problem that requires immediate action.
- Handshake - available only for dial terminals that have handshake capability. With handshake message monitoring, terminal availability is monitored. If EFD does not receive a message within a specified time interval, the EFD automated messaging system notifies you.
- Inactivity - available for any device whether dial, leased line or DANO. With inactivity monitoring, the financial transaction activity of the terminal is monitored. The monitoring is set for specific time windows. If a financial transaction does not occur within a designated time window, EFD' automated messaging system notifies you.
