Our ClearCommerce Payer Authentication solution enables you to transparently support the multiple card associations' payer authentication approaches, including Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode, through a single, common module. As a natural extension to our ClearCommerce risk and payment solutions, Payer authentication provides the flexibility to meet your needs and technical environment through either a software or hosted model - both easily integrate to your online checkout process and efficiently manage the authentication process.

The Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode programs ensure cardholder authenticity with the issuing bank, eliminating merchant liability for the most common fraud-related charge-backs and providing confidence to consumers that their cards cannot be used for fraudulent purchases. These solutions:

ClearCommerce Payer Authentication also includes support for the latest specification, 3DSecure1.0.2, which is required for merchant chargeback liability shift on 'attempted' Verified by Visa transactions.
