EMS supports the full lifecycle of an exception item including: retrieval requests, adjustments, charge-backs, re-presentments, rejects and arbitrations, Visa® and MasterCard® fraud notifications and miscellaneous fees. All reason codes, MMT values and required documents are presented to you based on the transaction attributes, eliminating user errors and reducing costs.
Our Transaction Research component allows you to search and display transaction detail. This information is available only minutes after a transaction has occurred. You can perform basic searches to get a quick glimpse of transaction results or perform highly filtered searches using additional search criteria. Either way, you have the ability to drill down into transaction detail that will assist you in research and troubleshooting.
We provide flexible options to give you all the tools necessary to simplify a messy process. You can handle all adjustments yourself or only the parts you choose. Either fax the adjustment request or submit it through our DataNavigator® tool to our Settlement Services Group, who then enters the items into the appropriate adjustment system within two business days. In most cases, adjustments are processed using an electronic system for each network.
