The company operates a contributory company superannuation scheme for employees. Membership of is optional. The company pays a set percentage into the fund (specified by Govt.), and the employee may also contribute a percentage (as much as they like).
The company operates a group life assurance scheme, which is non-contributory and effective upon your date of commencement. This benefit is dependant on acceptance into the scheme.
The company operates a private health cover scheme for either the individual or family, which is contributory. The company will pay 50 percent of the hospital portion of the cover required. Under this plan the employee can purchase optional extra cover.
The company has an additional sickness and accident benefit scheme. Acceptance to this scheme is subject to medical evidence and scheme acceptance. Benefits are subject to policy conditions.
The holiday year runs from the employee's start date to their anniversary date each year. The standard paid holiday entitlement is 25 days, plus public holidays, pro-rata for part time employees. Employees joining the company accrue paid holiday entitlement at the rate of approximately two days per calendar month. Unused holiday can be carried over from one year for six months into the next.
Effective the first of the calendar quarter following the date of hire, this benefit allows employees to purchase EFD stock through payroll deductions at 15 percent less than the lower stock price on the first or on the last day of the purchase period.
Effective after a successful probationary period, the tuition reimbursement program reimburses employees for eligible expenses incurred while attending approved business-related courses.
Every employee is a part of this scheme. Employees vote for someone who has done an exceptional job that fortnight. Employees receive points for votes received that can be saved for something big that the employee would like.
The company may also offer a number of other discretionary employee benefits. These benefits are reviewed regularly by the company and may be altered at the company's discretion. The benefits are non-negotiable and do not constitute a contractual term. All benefits are applicable to all employees.
