Retirement Benefits

Employee Provident Fund

Effective on the date of hire, this benefit provides a 100 percent match on employee contributions towards the Provident Fund. Every employee shall be eligible for membership in this scheme. The rate of contribution is 12 percent of the basic salary. A part of the company contribution is remitted to the pension fund and the remaining balance continues to remain in the Provident Fund account either with the Regional Provident Commissioner or the EFD Employee Provident Fund Trust.

Gratuity

This is a statutory retirement benefit available to the employee on completion of five or more years of continuous service with the company. It is payable on the employee's retirement, death, disablement due to accident, disease or resignation. The gratuity is calculated on last basic drawn and is computed as follows: Last Basic*15/26*number of years served with the company. In the event of death, the gratuity is available to the next kin in the family. The gratuity is not applicable if the employee's service is terminated on account of fraud.

Effective on the date of hire, the PTO program provides paid time off to be used for periods of personal illness, vacation or other contingent absences from work. Following are the main types of PTO available to employees:

Annual Holidays

EFD India observes ten holidays each year depending on the location or client specific needs.

FaCE (Facilitating Continuing Education)

This benefit encourages, financially supports and facilitates employees who are enrolled in approved business related courses or higher education. All full-time employees who have completed a minimum service of one year can apply for this program as per the process.

Concierge Services

This is an in-house initiative to help employees complete their routine domestic chores while at work. These may include chores such as paying telephone and electricity bills, booking movie tickets, planning holidays, greetings and more, from the convenience of your desk

Cafeteria

We have 24/7 cafeteria facilities in Mumbai, Chennai and Gurgaon. These cafeterias provide breakfast, lunch and dinner at subsidized rates.

Health Insurance Scheme

Group Personal Accident Insurance Plan

This benefit covers all full-time employees against an injury (partial or full) or accidental death. Each full-time employee is covered with pre-defined accidental insurance coverage depending on his or her level. In the event of death, the dependant family gets a lump sum payout by the insurance company. If the accident necessitates confinement to bed and is certified by the doctor, the employee is eligible for Loss of Pay benefits.

Domiciliary Treatment

Effective on the date of hire, EFD offers a domiciliary reimbursement program that allows the employee to pay for the medical, dental, vision and other non-hospitalization expenses for self and family members.

Hospitalization Expense

Effective on the date of hire, EFD offers a comprehensive hospitalization insurance scheme that allows the employee to seek reimbursement for all the hospitalization expenses for self and dependent family members. This also covers expenses related to maternity of self or spouse.
