Other international associates that form part of the UK organization will receive benefits applicable to their country's laws.
The company operates a contributory company pension scheme for employees. Membership is optional. The company pays a set percentage into the fund dependent upon the employee's level. The employee must also contribute a minimum percentage, but can contribute as much as they like.
The company operates a group life assurance scheme, which is non-contributory and effective upon your date of commencement. The benefit is four times the annual salary.
The company operates a private health cover scheme for either the individual or family, which is contributory. The company and the employee pay 50 percent of the cover required. Under this plan, the employees can purchase other benefits at a reduced cost including: worldwide travel, dental expenses, hospital cash, personal accident, or critical illness.
The company operates a PHI scheme that will protect a percentage of your salary in the event of long-term sickness.
The standard paid holiday entitlement in a full calendar year is 25 days, plus public holidays, pro rata for part time employees. Employees joining the company accrue paid holiday entitlement at the rate of two days per calendar month. Entitlement to vacation will increase with long service to a maximum of 28 days per annum. Unused holidays can be carried over from one year to the next up to a maximum of five days with the expressed permission of the employer.
Effective the first of the calendar quarter following the date of hire, this benefit allows employees to purchase EFD stock through payroll deductions at 15 percent less than the lower stock price on the first or on the last day of the purchase period.
Effective after a successful probationary period, the tuition reimbursement program reimburses employees for eligible expenses incurred while attending approved business-related courses.
As well as the above, the company provides any statutory benefit which is applicable, for example, eyesight test. The company may also offer a number of other discretionary employee benefits. These benefits are reviewed regularly by the company and may be altered at the company's discretion. The benefits are non-negotiable and do not constitute a contractual term. All benefits are applicable to all employees.
